Pixxl is a software service operated by Cognibee Media Private Limited ("Cognibee", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have. It covers the photography studios that use Pixxl ("Customers"), the people who message those studios ("End Clients"), visitors to this website, and the data we access from Meta's platforms — WhatsApp and Instagram — on our Customers' behalf.

This website itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not collect personal information unless you email us.
Pixxl is a Tech Provider on Meta's business messaging platforms — the WhatsApp Business Platform and Instagram messaging. Each Customer connects and controls its own WhatsApp Business account and, where it chooses, its own Instagram professional account. We use Platform Data received through Meta's platforms only to provide the service to that Customer — answering their client inquiries, preparing and sending quotes, sending payment reminders, and organising their bookings.
We handle Platform Data in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms, Developer Policies, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the policies that govern Instagram messaging. We do not sell Platform Data, and we do not use it for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to serving the Customer it belongs to.
For a Customer's account information we act as the data fiduciary (controller): we process it with the Customer's consent and to perform our contract with them. For End Client conversations and records, the studio is the fiduciary and Pixxl processes that data on the studio's instructions, as its processor, to deliver the service the studio asked for. We also process limited data where the law permits — for security, fraud prevention and compliance with legal obligations.
Pixxl uses AI language models to draft replies, quotes and summaries. Conversation content is sent to our AI providers only to generate those outputs. Our providers are engaged under terms that restrict them from using this data to train their models, and we do not permit the sale of it. Studios can review, edit or approve AI-drafted messages before they are sent, and can take over any conversation at any time.

We keep information while the Customer uses Pixxl. When a Customer leaves or requests deletion, we delete or de-identify their data within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep specific records longer (for example, tax and accounting records). Backups are purged on their own rotation shortly after.
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls, and per-customer data separation, so each studio's data stays isolated from every other studio's. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify affected Customers and the authorities as required by applicable law, without undue delay.

Customers can exercise these rights directly in the product or by writing to us. If you are an End Client of a studio that uses Pixxl, please contact that studio first — it controls your data, and we will support it in responding. You may also contact us directly.
To raise any privacy concern or complaint, write to our grievance contact at admin@pixxl.app with the subject "Privacy grievance". We acknowledge grievances within 72 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India or your local supervisory authority.
Pixxl is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 except incidentally as part of a studio's client conversations, which the studio controls.
Pixxl is operated from India. Some of our service providers may process data in other countries; when they do, we apply appropriate contractual and technical protections.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to Customers by email or in the product, and every change is posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after the effective date means the updated policy applies.
